How it Began

Lorraine Schwartz of Woolybutt Knitting began displaying Carol's jewellery pieces to match the knitted garments on display. It wasn't long before pieces were selling and her jewellery business started to grow. It was soon after that Lorraine offered Carol a studio upstairs from Woolybutt Knitting to accommodate the business. Carol now runs Shacara making and selling beautiful bridal jewellery & headpieces as well as a collection of seasonal fashion jewellery.

What makes Shacara Special?

All jewellery is completely handcrafted, either from the range available or through our bespoke service. Made to order jewellery is available for your wedding or special occasion and birthstone jewellery can be ordered for that special birthday gift.
Jewellery can even be matched to your wedding gown colour, your bridesmaids dresses, or we can match jewellery to your outfit for that special occasion or even just to match your favourite outfit for everyday wear.

At Shacara you will find a gorgeous range of handcrafted jewellery, all constructed with the finest components including Swarovski crystals & pearls, beautiful gemstones and exquisite glass beads sourced from both here in Australia and around the world.
